Inspired by the government lockdown (due to the corona virus) and my main man Gary Vaynerchuck, I’ve finally filmed and edited the first episode of Behind the lens - which is basically a longer, video version of my BIO!
I’ve been wanting to do a vlog for some time and actually filmed and edited a different version (more to do with opening the gallery) a few months back that I never shared. Maybe it’s the perfectionist in me, but i was never happy with the final cut which is why it remained on my hard-drive.
So, I have to say it feels amazing to get this first episode out because 1. it means I’m committed to the project and 2: now that I’ve edited the first one, I’m actually really excited and inspired to see how these videos evolve! If you know my backstory, you’ll know my visual arts journey started with video (my dream was to be a cinematographer) so I thoroughly enjoyed creating this (not so much the piece to camera interview) and am looking forward to filming and editing the next episode.
